The storyline of James Bond leaving active service to retire only to be pulled back into active duty was not new when “No Time To Die” debuted in 2021. However, this one felt different. Bond returns to his role as 007 when an old friend from the CIA helps him to help find and defeat a villain aimed at destruction. Going from a peaceful existence in Jamaica to a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist can’t be executed any better than by Bond, played by Daniel Craig in his final role in the franchise.
